- Altitude Advisory:
• Leh (3,500 m) and passes like Khardung La & Chang La are high-altitude zones.
• First day acclimatization is compulsory. Drink plenty of water & avoid exertion. - What to Carry:
• Warm clothing, thermals, gloves, woolen caps, sunglasses & sunscreen.
• Sturdy trekking/boots for uneven terrain. - Road & Weather: Conditions may vary; roads can close temporarily due to landslides or snowfall.
- Network Connectivity: BSNL postpaid works best outside Leh; limited/no network at Pangong & Nubra.
- Travel Advisory: Not recommended for travelers with serious heart/lung ailments.
